USTA Intro To Coaching Workshop

This 3.5 hour in person workshop is designed for: new coaches working with beginner players & passionate tennis players that are interested in coaching. Experienced coaches working with beginner players are also welcome.

Organize - get an activity started through an effective demonstration.

Coach - deliver the three components of a group lesson and provide basic instruction.

Learn - principles of the American Development Model to create a positive and engaging athlete centered learning environment.

This workshop will benefit school coaches, Jr Team Tennis coaches, PE teachers, volunteer coaches, High School/College players assisting programs or camps, parents, non-certified coaches assisting certified coaches.

Date: Saturday, January 17, 2026

Time: 8:30am - 12:00pm

Location: Hawaii Prince Tennis Club in Ewa Beach

Fee: $40.00/person
