Ron Romano, Executive Director  808.585-9526 | romano@hawaii.usta.com  Ron Romano, originally from New Jersey, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Moravian College in Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration from Touro College in New York. He played Division II tennis at Moravian College and became a teaching professional for 12 years including 5 years with Peter Burwash International. He was the Head Professional/Director of Tennis at four top 50 tennis resorts including three Hawaii resorts including Mauna Lani Bay Hotel, Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and The Westin Kauai. Ron has held senior management positions as the Vice President of Operations of Kauai Lagoons Resort, the General Manager of the Sheraton Makaha Resort and the General Manager of the Kauai Coconut Beach Resort. Ron has also served our country as an officer in the Army National Guard. Start Year: 2002

Madeleine Dreith, Director of Community Tennis  808.585.9528 | dreith@hawaii.usta.com  Madeleine Dreith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design/Fine Arts from UCLA. Having worked in office supply retail management for over 15 years, both in Los Angeles and Hawaii, Madeleine has experience in project development, purchasing, merchandising, event planning and promotions/marketing. These skill sets were easily transferred into her present responsibility that involves developing, servicing and promoting community tennis programs. Founder of the Kilauea Jr. Tennis Club, she oversees 150 plus youngsters and their families. Madeleine is instrumental in the development of youth tennis in Hawaii and is the longest serving staff member. Madeleine is a certified PTR Professional and USPTA member.  Start Year: 1998

Madeleine Dreith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design/Fine Arts from UCLA. Having worked in office supply retail management for over 15 years, both in Los Angeles and Hawaii, Madeleine has experience in project development, purchasing, merchandising, event planning and promotions/marketing. Mimi Kennell, Director of Junior Tennis

Mimi Kennell has an extensive background as a player, coach and teacher. She was born and raised in Taiwan and was the #1 junior player and the #3 open player in her country. Prior to her collegiate career, Mimi played on the WTA tour. Mimi went on to play for BYU Hawaii and was part of the NCAA II National Championship team in 1997. Mimi has coached at Kamehameha Schools, Iolani School, and at Pearl Harbor.
