The USTA Hawaii Pacific and The Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows Appoint a new Head Teaching Professional at the Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch
HEAD TEACHING PROFESSIONAL: NATE GEIGLE
Nate is aN RSPA Elite Tennis Professional and has over 15 years of coaching experience in the tennis industry, most recently holding the position of Head Tennis Professional and Director of Adult Programming at Dupont Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware. He also has worked at the Edgebrook Club in Bellevue, Washington. He has competed collegiately at West Chester University and coached at the Division II level at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. As Head Coach of the Men’s and Women’s teams at Chestnut Hill, Nate was named the Men’s tennis CACC Conference Coach of the Year and helped lead the Men’s team to a #3 ranking in the ITA East region. He coached the women to a national ranking of #34 in Division II, as well as helping one of his players achieve the ITA Division II National Most Improved Player award in 2016.
In his club teaching roles Nate provided instruction and programming via private and group lessons, adult and junior clinics, and USTA team practices. He also is certified in pickleball instruction and holds a master’s degree in Sports Business with a concentration in Athletic Administration, from Temple University's School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM).
Nate currently resides in Wailuku and is still involved in playing local USTA leagues on Maui.

Wide-ranging upgrades to The Royal Tennis Ranch include the resurfacing of 11 courts, pickleball lining, and industry compliance. These improvements ensure that the courts are safe, modern, and enjoyable for daily use by residents, resort guests, and seasonal visitors. The Lahaina Junior Tennis Club has found a new home at The Tennis Ranch, allowing young athletes to continue pursuing their passion for tennis in a supportive environment.
The Tennis Ranch also hosted Hawaii Food & Wine Festival’s first Pickleball Tournament and is set to welcome the 2026 World ITF Junior Tennis Tournament. Boasting 11 high-quality courts and a 3,500-seat stadium court, The Tennis Ranch is a premier venue for sporting events on Maui, generating positive economic impact for the island and the resort.
